Then we will discuss design tips for each format, showing what enhances the message and what obscures it.
These techniques will make you more conscious of how to design with intention, so that your graphics are understood accurately and are aesthetically pleasing.

About the Speaker:
Connie Malamed
Connie Malamed is a consultant, author and speaker in the fields of online learning, visual communication, and information design. She has helped nonprofit, government, and corporate clients transform their content into interactive learning experiences for 20 years. Connie is on a mission to help learning professionals improve their visual design skills and products. As part of this mission, she has written a new book, Visual Design Solutions, which helps learning professionals improve their visual design skills. Her previous book, Visual Language for Designers, explains the cognitive science behind graphic communication.
Connie is also the publisher of The eLearning Coach web site, The eLearning Coach Podcast and a mobile app, Instructional Design Guru. She has a graduate degree in instructional design and technology and an undergraduate degree in art education.
