Show Me the Money!

Now more than ever L&D professionals need to have business acumen and excellent communication skills to advocate for their projects. This role play event will help you learn to “articulate” the value of your L&D project with an increased awareness of the competing resources and the company’s current challenges.

From arrival time at 9:00 am, until the debrief at 11:45 am, attendees will be part of a cast of fictional  employees who will learn to better understand and identify the nuances of solving a multi-faceted problem that is presented to them.

The event activity will focus on the benefits of functional and professional training programs as seen through the eyes of those making the requests (department heads & TL&D staff) and also through the eyes of those who fund the initiatives (decision-makers).

Event objectives:

• Demonstrate scenario based learning and role playing as a method of engaging the audience and broadening participant perspectives. 
• To use scenario based learning as a vehicle to demonstrate out of the box methods to accomplish learning objectives.
