To be a "Best Place to Work" organization is indeed an honor. The criteria are stringent and the competition is stiff.
According to Fortune magazine, in a great workplace employees are proud to work there and genuinely enjoy spending time with each other. Leaders have the trust and respect of their employees, and employees are willing to engage in behaviors that drive sustainable business performance. Survey results indicate that all employees in such organizations consistently experience these conditions regardless of who they are or what they do.
While there are many reasons for achieving a Best Place to Work award, the Talent Development function in those organizations plays a critical role.
