The Leadership and Organizational Development (L&OD) SIG is for talent development professionals who are interested in learning more about what enables organizations to be highly successful in terms of employee engagement, highly skilled workforce, excellent talent development systems, learning/development culture, etc. A unique feature of the L&OD SIG is that the speakers hold senior-level leadership positions (CEO, CLO, VP or Director) within organizations from various industries. They focus on achievements, future initiatives, major business challenges, and how their organizations and talent development functions address these challenges. The format is panel, roundtable or speaker, and is highly interactive. A few examples of past programs include “How a "Putting People First" Culture Drives Business Results”, “Learning & Development in a Global Organization”, “Aligning Talent Development with the Business Strategy”, and our annual “CEOs’ Perspective and Expectations of Talent Development”. Come learn what’s important from the perspective of executive leadership and to how L&D/talent development can make a difference. Click here to find out more about our L&OD SIG Lead
