Creating a universal definition of microlearning that fits all organizations is impossible. But why?  Perhaps it’s the lens of how we view the term microlearning. Can there be one true definition? Like many things in the field of instructional design and learning development, the answer is “it depends.” So how can we come to the table prepared to have informed discussions around how, when and why to use microlearning?

In this session we will engage in activities to help us understand and become aware of the nuances and the ability to interpret those nuances. L&D and T&D professionals can be more confident navigating the use of microlearning as part of their learning ecosystem. In addition to gaining insight on how to operationalize this key term for your organization, the MLE Framework (Microlearning Effectiveness Framework will be introduced.
