Career Makeover: Get Polished! Get Noticed! Get Hired!

Please join us for the first annual Career Makeover! This unique event will help you refine the tools necessary to landing your dream job or taking your career to the next level. 

We will kick off the evening by talking about the best practices for networking and how to sell yourself to potential employers. After that, you can choose your own adventure by attending one or more of the mini-sessions happening throughout the evening that interest you. 

5:30-6pm Registration & networking
6-6:30pm Kickoff & networking session
6:30-8pm Career Mini-sessions 

You are free to attend any or all of the sessions and move through them at your own pace. There will be different rooms hosting the following: 

• LinkedIn Update: This session provides an overview of best practices for your LinkedIn profile hosted by Lee Hecht Harrison’s Mike Laws.
• Mock Interviews: This interactive session allows you to get feedback on your mock interview responses with several different experts and hiring managers.     
• Resume Refresh: Dust off your resume and get feedback on how to grab a recruiter’s attention with the expert guidance of Tangi James-Boone from Lee Hecht Harrison along with other industry gurus.
• Professional Photos: Wear your best professional clothes and have a professional photo taken by *Matt Porter to add to your updated LinkedIn profile for just $40!
