The leadership of a company is a key source of its competitive advantage – leaders set the vision, reinforce the values and culture, help drive results, influence morale, etc.

That is why the pipeline of future leaders is often a key metric to determine the health of a company. The talent development function plays a critical role in the development of its future leaders / high potentials – those who are seen as having the capability to move up to senior-level positions.

More Information on Our Speakers:

    Kristen Krebs, Ph.D., has enjoyed over 20 years of successfully creating business value through organizational and talent development initiatives.  She has spent the majority of her career in the pharmaceutical industry, and in her current role, leads Talent Development globally for CSL Behring, a biotechnology leader with over 25,000 employees worldwide.  Prior to joining CSL in 2016, she held a variety of senior talent and organizational development positions at Teva, Cephalon, Takeda and TAP Pharmaceuticals. Over the years, her main areas of responsibility have included leadership and employee development, team building, performance management, and succession management.

Dr. Krebs holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, where she also served as an Adjunct Instructor.  She currently resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania with her husband and three children.

 Veronica Hawkins, Ph.D. is VP, Talent Strategies and Solutions at NFI Industries. Her role is to ensure NFI has the people capabilities and process infrastructure to achieve organization goals and long-term strategies. She leads all facets of the employee experience including: Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Talent Pipeline, Learning and Organization Development, Performance Management, and Diversity and Inclusion.   

She has held leadership roles in Healthcare, Higher Education, Retail Operations, Manufacturing, and most recently Supply Chain. She has worked in Human Resources in Affirmative Action, Training and Development, and Data Analytics.  

Veronica is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Master’s in Training & Development and a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development – Team Development and Effectiveness.

Lev Hojda is an Organizational Development professional with in-depth experience in various industries including: health care, pharmaceuticals, construction, real estate, information technology, financial, knowledge management, and education. He is currently the Vice President, Learning and Organization Development at Freedom Mortgage Company, where he leads a high performance team to facilitate strategic initiatives across the enterprise to build bench strength, drive performance, and position Freedom Mortgage Company as an employer and lender of choice.

Lev holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, and an Ed.M. in Organizational Development from Temple University.
